I have found it next to impossible to keep a Swedish Ivy plant going in SW Florida. It is just too hot and wet. I did manage to get some to grow as a ground cover once, but it died during a cold snap. Growing it in the house, with the abominable humidity, leads to fungus gnats and mold, since it does not like to be dry.
I gave up on it a long time ago, in favor of hardier hanging plants, but I may give it another shot. I guess I could just keep some rooting in water for when the one in the pot dies. It's such a pretty plant, and while spider plants and wandering jew are nice, nothing beats Swedish Ivy for me.
